Have you already heard about Code Rally?
What do you think if you could learn about artificial intelligence concepts with this rally game?
As stated in the ?Academics? section in the Code Rally page:
?
Implement into Curriculum:
Code Rally can be used as part of the in-classroom curriculum to demonstrate programming concepts and have students practice implementing those concepts in a fun to learn way. Teaching loops? Have students utilize them in their car?s code. Teaching arrays? Have your students populate an array with track checkpoints and reference those points.
Run a Hack Night:
A ?hack night? (also known as a ?hackathon?) is a one night (or day) event in which students have a set number of hours to solve a problem and implement a programmatic solution. Code Rally works great in this format. Over a 3-4 hour period, students are introduced to the concepts and the tools and build their cars. At the end of the night, a champion is crowned.
Form a club:
One of the best things about Code Rally is that there is no limit to the improvements and creativity that can go into a car?s code. Why not form a campus club where students form teams, collaborate on implementation ideas, and gather weekly to race their cars against each other on a big screen!
