An interview with Frances Broman ? our international business ...

We are convinced that your professional reputation determines your success at work, in your career and how you succeed as a leader, employee or entrepreneur. It determines whom your customers will listen to and whom they will trust. As Richard Branson puts it: ?Reputation is all I have got?

We are so proud to have Frances Broman as our business advisor, when we now also start to put out our thoughts and methods with Your professional reputation? in an international arena.

We put four questions to Frances to get her view on the potential of Your professional reputation?.

Question: What is your background in the international arena?

I have an international background, my mother tongue is English and I have lived and worked in a variety of countries. I was the first woman to attend the International Management Program at Harvard Business School. After a successful career in marketing and management at board level I started Sweden?s first private career management company in 1991.

I am a trustee? of the? Axel and Margaret Ax.son Johnson Foundation and today I work both in Sweden and France. I coach people all over the globe and? I am an adviser to entrepreneurs. Together with Elodie LeGendre in Paris I have developed SevenStones Aligning People and Business where our missions is to support business leaders and processes in mergers and acquisitions.

I have coached thousands of people, working with them to find their unique potential and inspiring them to find greater satisfaction from their work and life. I have also been an advisor and provided career management consultancy to a wide range of companies addressing the specific problems of how to develop employee potential and ensure that they retain the talented individuals need for commercial success.

Question. We meet a great interest today for our work with analyzing and developing the professional reputation of individuals. Which potential do you see in this?

After 20 years of experience advising people and organizations on how to keep their talents, the question from my clients is often ?I feel insecure I don?t get any feedback on my performance I don?t know what people think of me maybe I should be doing something else?? This often results in lower self-confidence, low energy, not daring to follow one?s passion etc and of course this effects the environment and performance in the workplace. The change in people when they understand their strength?s and how to develop their potential is fantastic. The potential is enormous and is not only and organizational topic but also important in our society.

Question: We see an exciting development in Sweden for Your professional reputation?. With your international experience, do you think this could be interesting in more countries?

Working in an International environment I believe there is a great potential for developing? ?Your professional reputation?. Globally we communicate differently in different cultures but as human beings we all have dreams, ambitions, passions? and EVERYBODY has a potential.

Question: What do you see as the greatest advantage in analyzing and developing your professional reputation?

?Your professional reputation? will enable many people to live and stand up for their passion and ambitions they will be happy and effective in their work and life and the organizations that employ them will thrive. The entrepreneurs will gain enormous strength from this in developing their business.
